Ethical guidelines

Our employees are required to respect internationally recognised human rights throughout the activities of our business and its supply chain. Guard undertakes to ensure compliance with the core conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and to be proactive in ensuring that these are also respected by suppliers and subcontractors involved in producing the products used by Guard.

Where international conventions and national laws and regulations cover the same area, the highest standard will always apply. The labour laws of the jurisdiction where production takes place must be observed. Of particular relevance are provisions governing wages and working hours, health, safety and environment, statutory insurance and social security, and standard employment terms, including contracts. Guard is also committed to complying with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 17, Partnerships, and Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities.
