System engineers at Guard are unlike other system engineers. Most of our engineers are licensed automation technicians or electricians in addition to holding a BSc or MSc degree. Together with the engineers’ broad ranging experience, this means that we can offer competent assistance around the clock for technical enquiries ranging from electrical and automation to instrumentation. For automation, engineers possess in-depth knowledge of all recognized technology platforms and communication solutions.
Short response time
At Guard, the service and support function is located in a separate division, thus protecting resources from larger project deliveries. In addition, staffing is dimensioned with regard to overcapacity. That’s why our service engineers are always available at short notice – whether it relates to troubleshooting, maintenance or further development of the facility.
Response time for critical incidents can be guaranteed in less than an hour around the clock all year round. If the customer’s needs cannot be satisfied by remote connection, then our service managers at the nearest branch office are ready to respond. All inquiries are registered and followed up in a service portal where the customer can follow the progress of the case.

The spare parts warehouse is built up through thorough assessments of the client’s facility with evaluations of each critical component’s lifetime expectancy as well as its lifecycle status from the manufacturer.
